OUR COVID SAFE PLAN

We’re doing our bit to protect our clients, ourselves and our community by following a COVID-Safe plan within the state of Victoria. We’ll be closely adhering to all current best practices involving safe hygiene procedures and current risk reduction plans. As a permitted worker, we are allowed to work in Regional Victoria and will be carrying our permit as well as a COVID-Safe plan with us at all times.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING & PREVENTION

  • Until a time where it becomes appropriate, all communication and meetings in the lead up to your wedding will be conducted online.

  • We will postpone any photo shoots that will force us to operate outside of the state governments guidelines.

  • We will maintain a physical distance of 1.5m when physically possible, and will at all times do our best to avoid situations requiring us to enter that space.

HEALTH

  • If we are feeling unwell, or are a close contact of a confirmed COVID case - we will self isolate and another photographer or videographer will be assigned.

  • If we are confirmed to have COVID-19, we will isolate for a minimum of 14 days and any close contacts are to monitor for symptoms and seek medical advice.

EQUIPMENT

  • All equipment being used for a shoot is cleaned prior to being used and after.

  • Clients and guests are under no circumstances allowed to handle any of the photographer or videographers equipment.

  • Photographers & videographers will no longer be able to assist in taking photos using another person’s equipment (cameras, phones etc).

HYGIENE

  • We will carry hand sanitiser on our person at all times, and use it when appropriate.

  • Hand washing & sanitising will be adhered to when necessary; ie after picking up an item, touching an item that others may have touched etc.

  • We will wear a face mask at all times.

  • We will only use a new or freshly cleaned face mask each day.

RECORD KEEPING

  • We will maintain a record of all locations shot at a wedding, and maintain a record of each clients contact details to be made immediately available to contact tracers if required.

  • We will record contact with key personal such as other suppliers or key family members to be made immediately available to contact tracers if required.

  • In the event that we become unwell in the 14 days following the event, we will contact the couple and suppliers and inform them that we are going for testing and awaiting results. We will forward on results following this.

  • We have a process in place, and a responsibility to notify the DHHS and WorkSafe if we are tested COVID positive.

ARE YOU FEELING UNWELL?

In the lead up to your wedding you come down with any flu like symptoms, or are otherwise unwell - we request that any photography or videography session with us is postponed. In the event we are unable to attend your wedding for any of the reasons listed above, a suitable replacement within our network of likeminded and talented suppliers will be called on to replace us at no additional cost to you. All post production after the day will still be handled by Valley & Peak - there will be no difference in the quality of your wedding photos + films.
